I'm From Kansas USA :P Lots of snow this year and no electronic scene..its still underground here which is sad to me :( They need to get with the times!!!
I'm more of a producer in finding a label or perhaps starting my own. But i love music that i thought id try my hand at djing. I'm still learning the concept of beat matching so bear with me haha. I also have a good ear and i love great tunes..to think of djing a track cause its a promo is absolutely obsurd to me. Best mixes have great tracks. Old tracks need the same attention as new ones. I know many producers out there would love if their older tracks would get played as well. Music is the past present and future and if u give it lots of respect..it will turn around and give u the same. Remember the great old tracks and move forward to the great new tracks so in the end they can be remembered too.
