Q: Is Let’s mix a legal service?
A: Yes, perfectly legal. Let's mix pays mechanical rights via PRS for Music, IFPI and STIM for all the music we stream. Please see Terms of use for more information on Let's mix user copyright compliance.

Q: How do I upload a mix?
A: There are two ways of uploading mixes to Let’s mix. If you have a finished mix in any format you would like to upload, just convert it into an mp3 file and upload it from the upload page. You can also create a mix from scratch on the free Let’s mix editor software, and upload the mix directly from the editor to your Let's mix profile page.

Q: What are the storage and upload limits on Let's Mix?
A: There is currently no storage limit imposed on your account. Individual mix files need to be under 250MB in size. This file size limit should facilitate the rendering of your mix.

Q: How do I share mixes from Let’s mix?
A: When listening to mix, click the mix title to go to the mix page. From there, you can post directly to Facebook, Twitter and other social networks, embed the mix on your blog or share via email to friends.

Q: How do I follow/unfollow other members?
A: Just go to the profile page of the member you’d like to follow and click the Follow button. You will now receive notifications when this member publishes a new mix. If you’d like to stop following a member, go to Connections on your own profile page. The Unfollow button will appear when you mouse over a member you’re already following.

Q: Can I subscribe to mixes from a member without following them?
A: Yes. Go to the profile page of a member. Below the Mix library you can Subscribe to an RSS feed of new mixes from each individual member.

Q: Can I edit a mix which is already uploaded?
A: You can edit the title, genres, description and track list of a mix after it has been uploaded and published. You can also change the image associated with the mix.

Q: Can I delete a mix?
A: When you are logged in, use the "delete mix" button above the track list on the relevant mix page. If you have not uploaded the mix yourself and have copyright claims for a mix, please e-mail support.

Q: Can I download mixes?
A: No. Due to licensing reasons the music on Let’s mix is for streaming only.

Q: How does the mix rating work?
A: You rate the mix on a scale from 1-5 and an average rating based on the number of ratings is calculated. You can only rate a mix once from each individual IP address.

Q: How do I enter a mix into a competition?
A: To enter a mix into a competition, you need to be logged in. Then just go to the competition page in question and click the upload mix button. To submit a mix already uploaded, simply go to the competition page and select the mix from there.

Q: How do I vote on a mix in a competition?
A: All mixes that are entered into a competition can be voted on. To vote on a mix, you need to enter your email address. Each email address can only vote on a mix once: One voice, one vote.

Q: What bit-rate is the music on Let’s mix streamed in?
A: All music on Let’s mix is re-encoded to 96 kpbs in order for the streams to be fast and smooth.
