Hi everyone my name is Zach Sinkus aka Dj ZeusVolcoM.
I have been a trance, lounge, electro and electro-trance Dj for 2 years and havent had the exposure i could have in other parts of the USA.
Before i go on with myself, I want to tell a short story that actually happened this past
week. -->
Right now and for the last 5 months I have been working for my uncle. I took the job because I was not getting near enough gigs to cover my expenses back home in Indiana, USA. Now living in Pennsylvania, USA, I practice Djing at home, every night, being there is no "club" in this city that will allow house, electro, or trance to be played.
My uncle confronted me on Friday, after I told him about the contest in the beginning of February, and told me that by the end of this next week I have a decision to make. Either. I pick Djing and music or my job with him in the Ferroalloys business.
Let me interject to explain shortly a typical day for me from the morn till bed.
1. Wake up, brush my teeth, wash hair and face (I shower at night,) eat breakfast if I'm hungry, drive to work @ 7:30 and start working @ 8:00 am.
2. My work consists of typing reports, checking inventories here in the USA and comparing ours to the one in Luxembourg, Europe where our parent company is.
3. I eat lunch and then spend the last 6 hours of my day setting up shipments and transfers to our customers and from our suppliers.
4. All the while throughout my day I have a headphone in one ear to listen to the various internet radio stations, pandora, and the music I have purchased, downloaded or sent by friends from around the globe. (I've been caught checking the name of a song if its great and adding it to my downloads list. Which I have to do if I hear a great song! I'm sure all of you know the feeling when you hear a song and you just want everyone around you to hear it too! :) Now you see why my uncle confronted me. Haha!
5. I go home, grab some food, practice for 2 hours, listen to new songs and rate them, watch a movie, then to bed at around midnight.
That's a typical day
My passion has always been electro and trance, hence why i like the edgier electro-trance with giant explosions, dark and wavy synths, and soothing melodic piano riffs.
I hope to be DJing with you, creating events to wow the crowd & eventually my own music to share with the world.
