Returning art rock legends Devo play a big part in the forthcoming August issue of Dazed & Confused magazine, so I thought it would be cool to start off this month’s playlist with one of their best, and most bizarre tracks, “Jocko Homo”. As co-founder Gerald Casale says in our interview, “It was definitely the litmus test. It was not so much a song as a manifesto and a rant that either you got off or pissed you off.” Hopefully you’ll get off on it. If not, there’s plenty more to excite you, with new tracks from Tweakbird, Quad Throw Salchow, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Little Dragon and Gold Panda.
