System Divine was born in Rijeka, Croatia in 1984. When he was 11 years old, at music school, he played acoustic guitar, meanwhile listening to his mother records of David Bowie, Queen, Depeche Mode etc. But, only a few years later, he replaced a guitar with a pair of turntables.

At that age he plays at private parties & local bars, where he was earning his first money for vinyls. Few years later he participated a "rookies dj championship" and won a first place for the best upcoming house dj in Croatia. Immediately after that, the most famous club in Croatia at that time, called "Fun Academy" (Jeff Mills, Oxia, Mara Sound System, etc. played there), gives him an opportunity to became a resident dj. His potential was noticed and after several performances he became it's youngest resident dj ever. A lot of other residencies followed soon. He played in many clubs, and participated in lot of events in his home country and abroad (Hartera Music Festival, Carnival Party etc.). You could hear and watch him live playing on various radio stations & tv shows. Association "Be Free", established by David himself, continues to promote electronic music in his home country. Already, he had the opportunity to play alongside many important artists like Sasha, Guy Gerber, Simian Mobile Disco, Anthony Pappa, Ronski Speed, Steve Rachmad, Billy Nasty, MoShic, Nathan Coles, Alex Metric etc.

He shows diversity in music he spins. Describing his style like driving progressive-tech house sound with elements of different electronic music genres. It's all about feelings. You must hear it, and feel it, he likes to say. Next step, for young and talented dj, was producing his own music. His first EP was released by Xela Digital in June 2009. In November 2009, his first remix (for Diego Poblets-Piano&Strings) got a reaction from the one and only, Mr. Laurent Garnier himself ("Right down my street, will play this a lot"). His fans truly believe & support in what he is doing, so it's not so unusual when he stays behind the decks for six hours & more.
